'Agriturismo Felicetta' is ideally located for visits to some of the finest treasures of central Italy. Roccasecca (1.5 km distant) is a charming hill town, birthplace of St. Thomas Aquinas and overlooked by the medieval castle of his family. The famous and spectacular monastery of Monte Cassino (20 km) was the centrepiece of one of the hardest fought campaigns of World War II. On the coast (50 km) Formia and Gaeta are fashionable seaside towns with ferries to the islands of Ponza and Ventotene. Sperlunga is a beautiful fishing village with some of Italy's finest beaches.

Inland from Agriturismo Felicetta is the Abruzzo National Park (30 km), a huge area of unspoiled mountain, forest and scattered villages. In winter it has excellent skiing. The road to the Abruzzo leads through the wild Melfa Gorge, and traverses the Valcomino - heart of one of Italy's most traditional regions, the Ciocaria.

Finally, you can leave the car at home, and enjoy a walk in the hills behind the house, or a tour of Roccasecca's medieval past - followed by a swim in our pool and a glass of our local wines on the terrace.
